Justice

This is the official Justice Rock site

Formed in the summer of 2004, UK band, Justice played a huge array of music styles, from funk metal, to acoustic. Our material balanced covers (by Oasis and Iron Maiden) with our own songs. We disbanded in 2005 after everyone went off to university.

Before the band came to the name 'Justice', we went through two names, starting off with 'Forward FC Band', going to 'The Band' before 'Justice'. The name 'Justice' is after the drummers sticks, affectionately refered to as 'The Sticks of Justice'. That was shortened, and there you have it; the band name was born.

The band is led by hip-hopper Alex on vocals. Funk-metaller Marc plays bass, with Ballad-metaller Tim by his side on lead guitar. Oasis nut Vishad plays rhythm guitar. Death-metaller Kris mans the drums. So many genres in one band makes for interesting music, to say the least. Finnish friend of the band, Mikko helped out with guitar solos on fast tracks, and still does.

Practising throughout 2004, between university breaks, the band finally got their first gig at Christmas, which... well... was a learning experience. We recorded a 6 song demo album after the gig, which was released on January 4th 2005 online, and January 11th on CD.
